In 1977, Dick Hoyt participated in a five-mile benefit run while
pushing his paralyzed son, Rick Hoyt,in a wheelchair. After the race
his son told Dick Hoyt that he just didn’t feel handicapped when they
were competing. They have since competed in over a hundred triathlons
and marathons together.

everyone should remember and live by. Thanks for reminding me of that,
a value that I've almost forgot...
One week ago, I watched a video on the internet about Dick & Rick and
then read the article. After that, I try to think more deeply even
discuss with my teacher and classmates what I learn form them. There
is a quote reads, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”
This means that when life gets difficult, they are people who decide
that they will be a champion. That is what Dick and Rick Hoyt did.
When life got hard for them, they got tough and they got going.
Most of us are lucky than Rick. Sometimes we are depressing our
obstacles but think about Rick!! If he CAN...That we CAN overcome for
it.
